Choir visit to Dickleburgh
July 2000
On 16 July the choir of St Peter's was invited to All Saint's Church, Dickleburgh to sing at Choral Evensong. A picture of the choir taken against the splendid East window is followed below by a description of the day written by Graeme Thomas, one of the choristers. The choir is grateful to Neville Brundell, who enabled this invitation. Neville was for many years the organist and choirmaster at St Peter's before he left the hectic life of Bocking for the quietude of Dickleburgh. (Neville, please correct the webmaster if this is wrong!)

Digital photograph kindly provided by Bryan Franklin (he's the one at the back, right, with bad reflections from his spectacles. Not his fault - he asked the webmaster's wife to take the photograph!)
Music:
Introit "How lovely are the mountains" - Stainer
Responses - Moreland
Magnificat and Nunc Dimittis - Walmisley
Anthem "How lovely are the messengers" - Mendelssohn
(actually Graeme meant " How lovely are the Messengers")
