Soprano, Recorder and Oboe

Ruth has been singing from an early age. She developed her voice through formal training and by singing in All Saints Hockerill, Bishops Stortford. At university she continued her singing lessons and sang with the University College London Chamber Choir and University of London Chorus. Ruth has been singing with the choir of St Peter ad Vincula, Coggesshall since 2005. She regularly sings as a soloist at weddings and in concerts. She was a soloist in Vivaldi’s Gloria, which was performed at St Peter’s Bocking in March 2006. As well as the recorder, Ruth also plays the oboe, which we hope to hear in the future Blackwater Consort concerts
